yesterday was our "big" ultrasound and in case it isn't painfully obvious by the new blue EVERYTHING, baby z is a BOY! i'm SOOO excited! i know in the beginning i REALLY wanted a girl, but after hanging out with chenelle and one of her families, i just COULD NOT RESIST little boys!
i'll post pictures soon--i just have to get kenny out of his office to scan them in. there is an AWESOME boy parts pic in 3d, but we haven't decided if we will post it yet. regardless, it is SO CLEAR that it will be carter joining our family in the spring!!
kenny was so cute yesterday. everytime i turned around he was looking at the pictures from the ultrasound. he carried them around the house--he must've brought them to me three or four times last night just to look at them with him again. it's so awesome to know that he's just as excited as i am about this--actually, probably a little more so! he's going to be such a great dad--hopefully i'll be able to measure up as a decent mom. lol.
anyway, now it's time for the fun stuff! we get to start planning the nursery! i'm thinking we'll go with a cowboy theme, but we'll see!
